Cutting hair often does not affect its quality and growth

Oddly enough, so says Juan Carlos Vazquez, the medical coordinator of Svenson. Apparently, it's healthy to cut the ends to give our hair look better, but no cause-effect relationship that proves that this is strengthened. "The problem of hair loss is not in the stem, but in the hair follicle," says Vazquez.

The causes of hair loss are genetics, age and lifestyle. Experts agree that, for the moment, "it is impossible to break the hereditary code that predicts that some people end up suffering from baldness."

It is also important to know that hair is composed of proteins. If introduced into the diet, you will have a strong hair that will damage and break less and have more shine. It recommends eating foods rich in sulfur, magnesium, iron, iodine and calcium, as well as red meat, water, fruits and vegetables. On the other hand, should avoid foods high in fat, coffee, chocolate and fried foods.

Svenson's studies also show a relationship between stressful life events and loss of hair.
